What's your rate? ... What's your budget?
Over the past few years I've seen quite a bit of discussion online about day rates. I was surprised by how wide the range varies depending on the location. I've also read stories about producers lowballing people rates that wouldn't even fly over a decade ago, and this was in a major market. Outrageously low rates hurt the entire industry. The fact that these lowball rates are being offered leads one to believe that they are being accepted, which is quite frustrating.
However, all of that online discussion of rates isn't in one place or easy to parse. So, I've taken some time to put together an anonymous questionnaire to gather data regarding rates as well as a few other metrics in the still photography digital technician field. The goal of the questionnaire is to help bring consistency and help normalize rates across the field by informing others with the data gathered.
The results will be
analyzed and a report will be published in the near future here on the Faini Made : Field Guide.

- This is intended for Digital Technicians/Digi-techs/Digi-ops, NOT assistants!
- All fields are required.
- Please respond only once.
- Be as accurate as possible.
